About Kaghani GoatsAbout Kaghani Goats

Kaghani are large goats from the valley of the Hazara district of Pakistan. They are used for cashmere fiber and meat production. They are white, gray, brown or black. Their meat conformation is considered to be medium to good. Kaghani goats yield a good crop of long hair (per head/year 2 kg) with an under coat of cashmere wool used for expensive pashmina fabrics.
