Malaysian Buffalo, known as a swamp-type buffalo, are indigenous to western Malaysia. They are primarily utilized as draft animals. Typically, Malaysian Buffaloes exhibit a dark gray coloration, although occasional individuals may appear white. They are characterized by crescent-shaped horns. Malaysian Buffaloes share similarities with Bubalus arnee and are believed to have originated from this species.
