A composite creation, L'Aquila Goats bear the indelible marks of their diverse lineage, drawing upon the esteemed bloodlines of Toggenburg goats from Switzerland, alongside the Alpine, Maltese, and Girgentana breeds. This unique fusion of heritage imparts them with a distinctive charm and resilience, setting them apart as a breed of exceptional character and vitality.

In terms of stature, L'Aquila Goats present a graceful medium size, with males reaching heights of 75-80 centimeters at the withers and boasting a robust weight of 70 kilograms. Their female counterparts exude elegance, standing at 65-70 centimeters tall and weighing a refined 55-60 kilograms.
