About Palomino RabbitsAbout Palomino Rabbits

The Palomino rabbit is a breed of domestic rabbit that is known for its beautiful, golden-colored fur. The Palomino is a medium-sized rabbit, typically weighing between 6-10 pounds. They have a compact, well-proportioned body and a thick, soft coat. Their fur is a distinctive golden color, with a slight reddish cast, and white underbelly, that is soft and shiny. They have long, floppy ears and a friendly, docile temperament. They are known to be good pets and also used for meat and fur production. They are also shown in rabbit shows. Palomino rabbits are not recognized as a specific breed by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA), but they may be shown in the "Palomino" class at ARBA-sanctioned rabbit shows.
