Brigasca sheeprnare a local breed whose name is linked to the border territory between Liguria,rnPiedmont and Provence. They are descended from the Frabosana breed and likelyrncrossbred with Langhe sheep. The Brigasca is a rustic animal, perfectly adaptedrnto the traditional rearing system of a minimum of six months in alpinernpastures.

rnrnBrigasca sheeprnare used for milk and meat. Their milk is used to produce three different kindsrnof cheese: Sora, Toma, and Brus. All are made with techniques and tools boundrnto the ancient tradition of transhumance.
