Worldwide Livestock Brokering Services Added to Network of WebsitesFebruary 1, 2017. EAGLE POINT, OR. - This week www.LivestockOfTheWorld.com launched new services for livestock owners to buy and sell their animals across the globe. Livestock of the World (LOTW) is an online livestock hub website that is focused on selling animals and products around the world. This week they added livestock brokering services to round out their marketing menu offering. With over a billion people in the world depending on some aspect of the livestock industry - livelihood or food supply- this additional ability for buyers and sellers to connect makes moving or purchasing livestock easier. The livestock brokering services offers ranchers across 11 different types of animal species new ways to advertise their herd or individual animals for sale, and help ranchers connect with buyers. Livestock owners can list groups of animals for sale for only $179 per year or individual animals for $98 per animal listing. Brokering services also include animal pricing assessments, banner ads, data entry services, professionally written descriptions, mass emails, press releases, and assistance and guidance through the sales negotiation. The service also offers assistance with transportation arrangements. "We help buyers and sellers every step of the way sell their livestock, or purchase just what they are looking for," says Kim Andresen, who heads up the brokering program for Livestock of the World. Potential buyers who sign up for a Premium Membership on the site, can also receive help from the livestock brokering team to find the type of animal(s) they seek across the globe. "We move cattle, bison/buffalo, yaks, pigs, working dogs, sheep, horses, alpacas, llamas, goats and emus", says Andresen. We have helped ranchers move alpacas from Colorado to North Carolina and dairy cattle from Pennsylvania to Ethiopia. We work with each state and country to uphold travel quarantines and immigration requirements to ensure the health of the animals," says Andresen. This new service may be exactly what ranchers need to promote, and increase their livestock sales around the world. In addition to the brokering services, LOTW provides a network of information on thousands of breeds of animals, farm profiles categorized by region, and search capabilities for livestock ranchers to network and market their animals across the globe.
