About Calabrese HorsesAbout Calabrese Horses

rnrnCalabrese Horses originatedrnin Calabria and were derived from a group of Arabian horses imported from NorthrnAfrica. During the Bourbon period, they were crossbred with Andalusian horses. Inrnmore recent times, they were bred with Saleritano horses and English Thoroughbreds, rnwhich increased their size. Every now and then, in order not to lose their originalrntraits, they are bred with Arabian horses.
