About Anglo-Arabo-Sardo HorsesAbout Anglo-Arabo-Sardo Horses

Anglo-Arab-Sardo,rnor Sardinian Anglo-Arab ,rnhorses originated in Sardinia, Italy. rnrnWhen the Saracensrndominated the island of Sardinia, Arab stallions had been crossed with Sardinianrnmares of smaller size. At the beginning of the 16th century those horse were usedrnfor crosses with Andalucian stallions. In the course of the nineteenth century, rnthanks to the introduction of English thoroughbreds (thus, the prefix "Anglo").

rnrnrnrnModern day Anglo-Arabo-Sardo  horses are quite different from those of the past. Like the French and AmericanrnAnglo-Arab horses the Sardian Anglo-Arabs have obtaining excellent results as show jumpersrnand as a race horse.
