About Angeln CattleAbout Angeln Cattle



Angeln Cattle are from Angeln, Germany, where they have been carefully planned and bred since 1830. They are known for producing milk with high butterfat. The current breeding aim is 9000 kg of milk with 4.8 % fat and 3.8 % protein. Fully grown Angeln cows reach about 140 – 145 cm height and a live weight of 650 kg. Average yields are 5,200 kg of 4.6% milk per lactation.
